Parent Group Meetings

Enrollment through Parenting Cottage programs offers parents the opportunity to meet monthly for fun, educational programs, and support in gaining parenting skills for their young child.

Each month, different areas of child development or parenting skills are explored. While children enjoy special activities with certified PAT educators and screened community volunteers, parents attend group meetings on a variety of subjects to help increase their parenting skill knowledge. Parents in the group contribute suggestions on areas of parenting they would like to focus on or have more information. Program presentations are provided by guest lecturers as well as Parenting Cottage educators, and have included favorite subjects as sibling rivalry and mastering sleep problems.
