Ruth Martinez, Certified Educator

Ms. Martinez is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with an interdisciplinary minor in Substance Abuse Studies. She completed her practicum with the Texas Tech University Early Head Start home-based program. She holds certification as a Parents as Teachers educator for Prenatal-3 years and 3 years-Kindergarten and provisional certification as a Family Life Educator. Ms. Martinez serves as a member of VOICES of the South Plains, a community coalition which work to create a safe environment for families to nurture and protect children and youth through education and awareness.
